Conduent Transportation to Provide Chicago with Data-Driven Parking Enforcement
Chicago will now have access to an innovative system to make parking enforcement more efficient, accurate and dynamic. The system, developed by Conduent Transportation, a business unit of Conduent Incorporated (NYSE: CNDT), uses advanced analytics designed specifically for parking enforcement officers working in the field.
Under a new contract with Conduent, the city will use CitySight®, a suite of digital applications that will help optimize parking enforcement efficiency and effectiveness. The technology includes Conduent’s data-driven enforcement platform that combines citation probabilities and regulatory information to help inform personnel.
“Parking enforcement officers across the country are often dispatched without optimal information” said Mick Slattery, CEO, Conduent Transportation. “What we’re now doing in Chicago is providing personnel with mobile technology, data visualization dashboards and performance analytics to better conduct their activities”
Analytics-based enforcement provides multiple benefits for communities, including enabling officers to do their jobs with greater precision and improving parking availability for consumers and merchants, reducing both driver frustration and traffic congestion.
