AUSTIN, Texas, July 6, 2020 – FlashParking, the leader in 21st century parking mobility technology, announced it has completed the acquisition of the Parking Division of Control Systems Incorporated (CSI), a Connecticut based company that served over 1,600 customers over the last 30 years. The deal expands FlashParking’s customer base in the Northeast, and provides CSI customers access to reliable, future-ready technology that diversifies revenue and helps operations thrive in today’s rapidly evolving mobility landscape.

The acquisition supports FlashParking’s mission to deliver 21st century mobility technology and comprehensive parking services powered by FlashOS, the industry’s only mobility hub operating system, to a well-established customer-base that already expects the best.

WEST HARTFORD, CT – Bobby Fletcher has joined the Control Systems, Inc. (“CSI”) team as a Sales Account Executive for the New York and New Jersey markets effective January 2, 2018.  Mr. Fletcher has been in the parking industry for more than ten years and he will be working with Howard Benson the Executive Vice-President of Sales for CSI.  Mr. Fletcher will continue CSI’s tradition of providing a reliable and quality customer experience.

Howard Benson was named Executive Vice-President of Sales of Control Systems, Inc. (“CSI”)

 

 

WEST HARTFORD, CT – Howard Benson was named Executive Vice-President of Sales of Control Systems, Inc. (“CSI”) effective November 1, 2017.  Mr. Benson has been a member of the CSI team for more than eighteen years and has over thirty years of experience in the parking industry.  He started his career with Kinney Parking and eventually joined Central Parking.  During most of Mr. Benson’s career with CSI he was responsible for all sales in the New York and New Jersey markets.  Howard is now the Executive Vice-President of Sales and is the primary contact for proposals and contract administration. Howard is also responsible for the ongoing development and growth of CSI’s sales team in all of its markets. Howard has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Middle Atlantic Parking Association (MAPA) since 2013 and is now Vice-President. Howard is also a member of the National Parking Association.

 

 

Transitioning into his new role, Mr. Benson will increase CSI’s sales force while sharing his thirty plus years of experience.  Under his guidance, CSI’s sales force will spearhead its growth into expanded markets providing a reliable and quality customer experience.

Cynthia L. Lahm was named President of Control Systems, Inc., CSI

 

WEST HARTFORD, CT – May 17, 2017, Cynthia L. Lahm was named President of Control Systems, Inc. (“CSI”) effective May 10, 2017.  Ms. Lahm, joined CSI in March of 2010, and has more than thirty-five years of legal and business experience, serving CSI as Vice President and General Counsel.

 

As she transitions into her new role, CSI will continue to benefit from Ms. Lahm’s propitious advice while sharpening strategies and building its next important phase.  Ms. Lahm stated that “CSI is becoming a more focused and balanced company, committed to continued integrity and streamlining its cost structure.”

 

Before joining CSI, Ms. Lahm served as Senior Counsel for Fleet Bank, working with the leasing and contract negotiation team.  Ms. Lahm began her career as an attorney in private practice in 1981, eventually becoming a law firm Partner in Hartford, CT.  Ms. Lahm is a member of Women in Parking and has participated in its mentoring program.
