Delray Beach, Florida – One Parking is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Parking Logix and eleven-x® to enhance parking efficiency in the vibrant coastal city of Delray Beach, Florida. Together, they are digitizing 16 surface lots and 1,200 on-street parking spaces, radically transforming the parking experience for residents and visitors.

The new initiative, which leverages Parking Logix’s OpenSpace technology and eleven-x’s eXactpark™ system, will allow drivers to check public parking availability for on and off-street parking spaces via the city’s website. It will eliminate the frustration of reaching downtown areas and wasting valuable time searching for parking by matching drivers with available parking spots. The wayfinding project is being administered by One Parking, a leading parking management company that manages over 50,000 self-parking and valet spaces across the United States.

The goal of the One Parking initiative is to alleviate the common complaint of insufficient parking in the popular Florida beach town by providing real-time parking data at drivers’ fingertips. This partnership aligns with Kirkland’s Smart Cities Initiative which aims to leverage innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency, share information with the public, deliver enhanced services and effectively manage resources to improve the community’s quality of life. Kirkland is a picturesque city located on the eastern shore of Lake Washington. The downtown area of the city, known for its waterfront access to Lake Washington, has experienced increasing traffic volumes and greater demand for parking in recent years. Limited availability of premium parking, such as free on-street parking and low-cost $1 per hour parking in two of the city-owned lots, has resulted in difficulties for residents, employees, and visitors seeking parking options. In response to these challenges, the City is taking a proactive approach to implementing measures that will effectively address the needs and desires of drivers with the existing parking resources.

Parking Industry Leader Jonathan Evens Joins eleven-x to Help Drive the Company’s Expansion in North America

eleven-x, developers of the award-winning eXactpark™ smart parking solution, a real-time stall occupancy monitoring sensor and software platform, is pleased to announce the addition of industry veteran Jonathan “Jon” Evens as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. In this new capacity, he will be responsible for supporting the company’s expansion across North America by developing and executing strategies to continue eleven-x’s customer growth in the municipal and academic campus sectors. Evens will be based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Evens has more than 15 years of experience in the parking industry as well as the software as a service and hardware as a service spaces. Before joining eleven-x, he was the Regional VP for FLASH Parking where he was responsible for building out and managing a Central U.S. sales team. Prior to that, Evens was the VP of Sales for Evens Time, an Indianapolis-based parking technology company founded by his family. During his 13 years there, he quadrupled the company’s territory and grew its range of services.

Through this comprehensive parking monitoring sensor and software solution, Arlington County aims to help drivers quickly and efficiently find available on-street parking, thereby reducing cruising and congestion, while improving overall safety in the area and helping lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

In support of Arlington County’s objectives of improving quality of life, sustainability and economic development, eleven-x will embed approximately 5,000 of its SPS-X sensors in all on-street parking stalls around the vibrant commercial district. The award winning, patent pending SPS-X sensorutilizes multiple technologies to provide 99.5% accuracy, the highest in the industry. Drivers will be able to find available parking with the aid of signs and a wayfinding app that provides real-time stall occupancy data. Furthermore, eXactpark’s robust software platform will be integrated with pay meters to enable dynamic pricing initiatives, which is a key requisite for the county. The City of Guelph is a vibrant community of over 143,000 people situated in the heart of southern Ontario with a thriving city center. eXactpark will enable the city to better manage its limited parking resources and reduce traffic congestion by providing real-time parking stall occupancy data, and software to use this data to manage parking assets and implement advanced intelligent enforcement capabilities.
