The 298 Acre Mixed Use Development Will Also House SoFi Stadium, the New Home of

the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams

Inglewood, CA (September 3, 2020)— Access Professional Systems (APS) announced today that it has been selected to install a smart, simple, and scalable EnSight Technologies parking guidance system at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. The 298-acre mixed-use development will offer retail, restaurant, and residential space, as well as SoFi Stadium, the new home of the Los Angeles Chargers and Rams. EnSight’s pioneering parking occupancy management and guidance technology will be installed in the complex’s four-story retail and residential parking garage to help tenants and visitors find available parking quickly and conveniently. San Diego-based APS is one of California’s leading parking technology providers.

“We are thrilled to be providing parking guidance technology for this exciting project,” said Chris Scheppmann, president of Access Professional Systems. “The EnSight Technologies parking guidance system is the most advance parking guidance technology in the world, and visitors, residents, and Chargers and Rams fans are going to love how easy it makes parking.”

EnSight Technology’s intelligent camera-based solution will be installed on each of the garage’s four parking levels to monitor the occupancy of general spaces, and a roof top zone will be monitored by outdoor pole mounted cameras to count vehicles entering a residential nest. Occupancy information will be transmitted in real-time to monument signs located on the garage’s exterior to let parkers know how many spaces are available. Ensight Technologies’ Open API will also transmit occupancy data to Samsung dynamic LED message boards that will be used for much more than just space information.

The Hollywood Park garage has ramp parking within the structure, and the EnSight parking guidance system can virtually define regions of interest, exclusion and count lines, to enable occupancy counting without compromising parking spaces with physical lane delineation. This will allow the system to provide parking guidance during Rams and Chargers games if the complex’s managers choose to use the garage for NFL games and other event parking.

The Hollywood Park garage is being built by Webcor Builders and Bomel Construction. Hollywood Park is owned and developed by The Kroenke Group.

EnSight Technologies Chosen to Install Integrated Parking Guidance Technology At Landmark Class A Office Building in Downtown Redwood City, California

Redwood City, CA (March 30, 2020)— EnSight Technologies announced today that it has been selected to install its smart, simple, and scalable parking guidance technology at 601 Marshall Street, a Class A office building in the heart of Redwood City, California. EnSight’s pioneering parking occupancy management and guidance technology will be installed in the complex’s five-story parking garage to help tenants and visitors find available parking quickly and conveniently.

“We are excited to be bringing our technology to the iconic 601 Marshall complex,” said Chris Scheppman, managing member of EnSight Technologies. “Parking guidance is the perfect technology for developers and building owners who want to improve the parking experience with guidance equipment, without spending a fortune.”

EnSight Technology’s intelligent camera-based solution will replace an existing system that is no longer functional.  Through this unique project, EnSight Technologies will install its industry-leading parking guidance software into the garage’s existing infrastructure, utilizing existing cameras and dynamic signage. By utilizing existing infrastructure, the complex’s owners were able to add the most advanced parking guidance technology at considerable savings. The system will count vehicles entering and exiting the garage and transmit that occupancy information to signs located at garage entrances.

“As cities throughout the United States continue their evolution into smart cities, parking guidance suites like this will play a critical role,” said Scheppmann. “Parking guidance is the essential infrastructure for the success of smart cities because it guides drivers directly to available parking. Ultimately, this will make transportation much easier and city streets much less congested and safer.”

Installation of the software is expected to take a week to complete, followed by a short fine-tuning period to optimize the software for use with the complex’s equipment. The project should be finished in late-April.

New Parking Technology Company, EnSight Technologies, Looks To Revolutionize Parking Guidance

May 20, 2019

New Parking Technology Company, EnSight Technologies,

Looks To Revolutionize Parking Guidance

San Diego, CA (May 20, 2019)—A new parking technology company is setting out to shake up the parking industry by revolutionizing parking guidance. Chris Scheppman, president of Access Professional Systems, one of Southern California’s largest and most successful parking technology providers, today announced the launch of EnSight Technologies, a new parking guidance technology company. EnSight Technology’s scalable, intelligent camera-based solution is less costly and requires less infrastructure than traditional parking guidance systems.

“Every owner and operator wants to offer parking guidance, but traditional PGS systems are often just too costly,” said Scheppman, managing member of EnSight Technologies. “We have developed a smart, simple, and scalable parking guidance ecosystem that requires less equipment to guide parkers to open spaces. Our mission is to provide a guidance solution for the masses, not the few. We believe that our model of intelligent simplicity will transform the parking experience, as well as parking facility management.”

Rather than mounting parking guidance sensors over individual spaces, EnSight Technologies’ solution relies on intelligent cameras mounted in strategic locations, allowing systems to start simple with total garage occupancy, or scale up with level occupancy, specialty parking, and aisle counts. Data collected by the cameras is transmitted to EnSight’s software, which constantly analyzes car counts to determine how many spaces are available on each floor and communicates the data to dynamic signage located at facility entrances, entrance to each floor, or intermediate wayfinding signage. Because the system utilizes open API software it can easily be integrated with other parking technologies into a powerful parking management suite.

“Our system is much simpler and easier to manage than traditional parking guidance systems,” said Scheppman. “Parkers don’t need to be overwhelmed with hundreds of green and red lights. You just need to give them enough information to make intelligent parking decisions. “Not only is our parking guidance ecosystem much more affordable for owners and operators, but we think it’s more user-friendly too.”

Ensight Technologies has hit the ground running. In addition to already completing its first installation at Manhattan Village in Manhattan Beach, California, Ensight Technologies is in the midst of a go-live at One Paseo, a mixed use complex in San Diego with residential space, shopping, and dining. Beyond this the company also has several additional projects under contract.

Ensight Technologies will be exhibiting at the upcoming International Parking and Mobility Institute Symposium in Anaheim, in booth #578.
