EnSight Technologies’ Groundbreaking Parking Guidance Technology Goes Live in Stockton, California

San Diego, CA — EnSight Technologies announced today that its groundbreaking parking guidance technology has gone live in Stockton, California’s Arena, Market Street, and SEB/El Dorado Street parking garages. Each of the garages is now equipped with state-of-the-art parking guidance cameras, interior wayfinding signs, and EnSight’s industry leading EnSightful Platform. The addition of EnSight’s parking guidance technology provides a safer and more convenient parking experience in each of the City of Stockton’s garages.

“This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both EnSight Technologies and the City of Stockton,” said Chris Scheppman, managing partner of EnSight Technologies. “We are proud to be at the forefront of this transformative period for the City’s parking initiatives.”

Altogether, EnSight Technologies installed 21 FLI cameras throughout the Arena, Market Street, and SEB/El Dorado Street garages to monitor parking occupancy in each garage. That occupancy data is transmitted in real time to 16 interior level count signs that guide drivers to available parking spaces. By guiding drivers directly to open spaces, the system can reduce the amount of time it takes to find a parking space by up to 63%.

ENSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES ADDS THREE ADDITIONAL LOCATIONS TO RAPIDLY GROWING PORTFOLIO INCLUDING FIRST INTERNATIONAL SITE

SAN DIEGO, CA —Today, EnSight Technologies is pleased to announce three additional locations have agreed to leverage its proprietary parking occupancy management and guidance ecosystem for their parking garages. These three locations join EnSight’s impressive portfolio on the heels of The Grand LA, Los Angeles’ latest and highly anticipated mixed-use development, electing to install the EnSightful Ecosystem for its two-level subterranean parking garage.

The three new locations are: 220 Park, St. Jude, and The Well.

220 Park is a 185,000 square foot Class A+ office and retail campus in the heart of Downtown Burlingame, CA offering upscale office space, premier retail, and restaurant locations, and is steps away from the Millbrae BART connection. This facility marks the sixth in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area for EnSight Technologies and the second with Devcon Construction to provide parking occupancy management and wayfinding. 220 Park is also a DoStart Development Company, Inc. property and marks the second EnSight-DoStart property to leverage EnSight’s camera-based, purpose-built technology. The other location is 601 Marshall in Redwood City, CA. EnSight’s ecosystem will display parking availability on dynamic edge-to-edge displays by level for 220 Park’s multi-level garage.

A nationally ranked children’s hospital with plans to enhance their already world-class patient experience, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN will leverage EnSight’s FLI Cameras in each of their three parking garages for parking occupancy management and push data to monument signs at each entrance and the hospital’s website and mobile application. St. Jude will leverage EnSight’s Open API to gather data from the EnSightful platform for its own use online. With plans to expand their existing parking operations to with additional garages, St. Jude will be able to leverage EnSight’s scalable ecosystem as needs scale and change.

The Well, located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, marks EnSight’s first international site to leverage its EnSightful Ecosystem for parking occupancy management and wayfinding. The Well is 7.7 acres of a unique mix of shops, restaurants, fresh food markets, workspaces, and residences in Toronto’s King West area. Offering 420,000 square feet of retail and food services, 1MM square feet of office space, and 1,700 residential units, The Well is Toronto’s first true luxury campus that offers a lifestyle experience unique to itself. For the project, EnSight partnered with Precise Parklink, Canada’s leading parking systems integrator. For The Well’s six-level garage, EnSight will install 17 cameras to count cars at each level and share parking availability data to seven interior wayfinding signs housing 22 sign insert displays. As part of The Well’s broader parking operations, Precise Parklink will be installing Parking and Revenue Control equipment to offer a complete solution and enhance the parking experience.

“Parking operators, parking systems integrators, and real estate organizations continue to find extraordinary value in leveraging our camera-based, purpose-built technology to enhance their parking operations and improve their ability to make better informed business decisions rooted in data,” stated EnSight Technologies’ Managing Member Chris Scheppmann. “EnSight was founded on a simple premise: offer an extraordinarily accurate parking occupancy data without extraordinarily expensive infrastructure. And, as locations like 220 Park, St. Jude, The Well, and, recently The Grand LA, come online, it just confirms that our mission and platform is being well received throughout the industry as being valuable to their operation; and that’s very comforting.”

ENSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES DRIVES REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA’S EVOLUTION TO A SMART CITY

ENSIGHT TECHNOLOGIES DRIVES REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA’S EVOLUTION TO A SMART CITY

EnSight’s Groundbreaking Parking Guidance Technology Connects

Private and Public Parking into a Single City-Wide Parking Guidance Grid

SAN DIEGO, CA —Parking is now easier and more convenient because of EnSight Technologies’ groundbreaking parking guidance technology. Today, EnSight Technologies announced the successful completion of a parking guidance grid connecting Redwood City’s municipal parking structures with several private parking garages into a single easy-to-use and manage parking guidance system. EnSight installed its intelligent camera-based occupancy management system at three city garages: Jefferson, 889, and Marshall. The addition of these garages brings EnSight’s technology to five total garages totaling 1,400 parking spaces in Downtown Redwood City.

Alongside EnSight, Redwood City selected Cleverciti as the two organizations to drive the municipality’s smart city initiatives. Ensight was selected for its ability to deliver accurate way-finding guidance in the city’s parking garages and unique LPR and security functionality, and Cleverciti was tapped for its outdoor and on-street parking detection capabilities. Coupled together, Redwood City now, for the first time, has complete visibility into their parking ecosystem and ability to deliver parking data to users of its MyRWC mobile app, PayByPhone, and IPS multi-space pay station; all designed to offer an enhanced parking experience. Parkers throughout Redwood City have access to real-time parking information for seven surface lots, 11 parking garages, and over 4,500 individual parking spaces.

“We are excited to be playing such an important role in Redwood City’s smart city evolution,” said Co-Founder and Managing Member of EnSight Technologies Chris Scheppmann. “Parking guidance is the key to smart city development because it provides immediate access to available parking, helping drivers get into parking facilities and off city roadways quickly and safely. We also know that as America emerges from COVID-19, those retail centers, malls, and other similar commercial ecosystems have an opportunity to accelerate growth as drivers will spend less time looking for parking and more time shopping and dining. It’s also a huge benefit that our software is more accurate and comes with a much lower cost of ownership, which is part of the reason why Redwood City choose EnSight as their way-finding partner.”

EnSight Technology’s intelligent camera-based solution counts vehicles entering and exiting each level of each garage and transmits that occupancy information to LED signs located at garage entrances and throughout each floor, providing real-time information about how many parking spaces are available to help drivers quickly and conveniently find parking.

EnSight’s parking guidance and occupancy technology leverages the latest advancements in machine learning to differentiate between vehicle types and vehicle uses. This allows the system to continuously improve performance and accuracy as new vehicles are introduced to parking facilities. LPR cameras are also able to improve parking security as they now include video surveillance capabilities.

“This represents an extraordinarily important advancement in parking guidance technology,” said Scheppmann. “Not only does our technology provide an important and unprecedented security benefit, but the machine learning capabilities means the technology is constantly improving to assure that it will provide exceptional service well in the future.”

Access Professional Systems and EnSight Technologies Team Up to

Provide Parking Guidance Technology for US Navy Headquarters in San Diego

San Diego, CA (July 23, 2020)—Visitors and employees of the new U.S. Navy Headquarters in downtown San Diego will enjoy an extraordinarily convenient parking experience with the installation of EnSight Technologies’ advanced parking guidance technology. Access Professional Systems (APS) has teamed up again with EnSight Technologies to install EnSight’s camera-based parking guidance solutions for the new navy complex, which is located adjacent to the city’s beautiful marina. The Navy HQ project was the first to begin construction on the new proposed 8-block Manchester Pacific Gateway development.

The MPG project is arguably the most ambitious project in San Diego’s history. It is comprised of a one-of-a-kind luxurious development that will immediately and globally enhance San Diego’s reputation as one of the world’s most desirable destinations. In addition to the Navy HQ, it will include two waterfront hotels, a class A office building, and a park for green space.

“Call us patriotic, but this one just feels a little bit more special to have the opportunity to serve the incredible men and women of our armed forces,” said Chris Dix, Director Business Development for APS. “I am extremely proud to be involved in the U.S. Navy’s new state-of-the-art facilities, and also part of the historic Manchester Pacific Gateway project”

The HQ garage will feature EnSight’s intelligent cameras located at the main entry, exit, and each level change to monitor incoming and outgoing traffic. That occupancy information will be relayed to dynamic LED signs at the garage’s entrance and strategically-placed locations throughout the garage. The signs, coupled with EnSight’s advanced machine learning systems, provide real-time occupancy information throughout the facility to help drivers find a parking space quickly and easily.

EnSight Technologies Chosen to Install Integrated Parking Guidance Technology At Landmark Class A Office Building in Downtown Redwood City, California

EnSight Technologies Chosen to Install Integrated Parking Guidance Technology At Landmark Class A Office Building in Downtown Redwood City, California

Redwood City, CA (March 30, 2020)— EnSight Technologies announced today that it has been selected to install its smart, simple, and scalable parking guidance technology at 601 Marshall Street, a Class A office building in the heart of Redwood City, California. EnSight’s pioneering parking occupancy management and guidance technology will be installed in the complex’s five-story parking garage to help tenants and visitors find available parking quickly and conveniently.

“We are excited to be bringing our technology to the iconic 601 Marshall complex,” said Chris Scheppman, managing member of EnSight Technologies. “Parking guidance is the perfect technology for developers and building owners who want to improve the parking experience with guidance equipment, without spending a fortune.”

EnSight Technology’s intelligent camera-based solution will replace an existing system that is no longer functional.  Through this unique project, EnSight Technologies will install its industry-leading parking guidance software into the garage’s existing infrastructure, utilizing existing cameras and dynamic signage. By utilizing existing infrastructure, the complex’s owners were able to add the most advanced parking guidance technology at considerable savings. The system will count vehicles entering and exiting the garage and transmit that occupancy information to signs located at garage entrances.

“As cities throughout the United States continue their evolution into smart cities, parking guidance suites like this will play a critical role,” said Scheppmann. “Parking guidance is the essential infrastructure for the success of smart cities because it guides drivers directly to available parking. Ultimately, this will make transportation much easier and city streets much less congested and safer.”

Installation of the software is expected to take a week to complete, followed by a short fine-tuning period to optimize the software for use with the complex’s equipment. The project should be finished in late-April.
