Luca Bovalino, CEO of HUB Parking Technology North America, appointed by FAAC Group, as CEO of all the Parking Business Line in North America, which includes HUB Parking Technology, TIBA Parking Solutions, Signature Control Systems (SCS) and Associated Time Instruments (ATI)

 

 

Bologna – September 29, 2021 – FAAC Group, Italian multinational leader in the sector of automation of vehicle and pedestrian access and revenue control systems, appointed Luca Bovalino, CEO of HUB Parking Technology North America, as CEO of all the Parking Business Line in North America, which includes HUB Parking Technology, TIBA Parking Solutions, Signature Control Systems (SCS) and Associated Time Instruments (ATI).

Mr. Bovalino will lead the largest and fastest growing Parking Solution Powerhouse in North America consisting of HUB Parking, TIBA LLC, SCS and ATI. His appointment will accelerate synergies and integration between the organizations under one leadership, further strengthening FAAC corporate commitment to the business and financial stability.

The goal of the new organization is to increase the Company market leadership in technology, quality, and services, while offering North American parking operators consistent solutions and the best customer experience.

The integration of the aforementioned parking teams was carefully phased, in order to smooth processes, identify areas of collaboration, and guide opportunities that would require cross-functional attention.

Can a smooth ride and safe parking make it easier to get back to work after the vacations? Without a doubt! Especially if there is a lot of traffic and the city center is a Limited Traffic Zone (or LTZ), as in the case of Foggia, Apulia.

The historic Ginnetto parking lot, managed by ATAF, is strategically located just outside the LTZ, and helps to relieve the pressure of vehicles in the area thanks to 87 stalls on multiple levels.

Since May 2021, the entry and payment of parking are guaranteed by a Jupiter system with slim stations, Selea cameras for LPR recognition of license plates and an automated pay station for the renewal of subscriptions. Users reach the Ginnetto access ramp, the LPR camera at the entrance recognizes their license plate and the barrier opens, welcoming them into the parking lot in just a few seconds.

The previous manual management of season tickets relied on proximity technology, i.e. the action of the driver to bring the card close to a reader: although reliable, it was subject to the unexpected or simply the difficulty of finding the card, thus complicating the entry process.

LPR technology eliminates this risk, and for the driver the need to always have the access medium with him: the license plate is in fact always available and in the right position to be framed and recognized by the camera, which ensures very high reading accuracy even in low light situations.

For ATAF staff, the management of subscriptions and traffic flows is much more straightforward, allowing them to dedicate more comprehensive services to the users of the Ginnetto parking lot.

City of Columbia MO Awards Six-Garage PARCS Project to HUB Parking Technology

 

 

The City of Columbia is a Midwestern college town and the fourth largest city in the state of Missouri.  Once a predominantly agricultural town, the establishment of Stephens College, the University of Missouri, and Columbia College which surround the city’s central business district, has shifted the main economic concern to education today.

 

 

The Columbia City Council approved HUB Parking Technology to provide and install a PARC system within its six parking garages.  HUB will help the City automate and standardize the parking system currently in place.  The barcode and EMV-ready HUB PARCS solution includes 18 lanes of equipment with payment via credit card and validation, and 12 pay-on-foot paystations allowing payment by cash and/or credit card.

City of Madison Wisconsin once again selects HUB Parking Technology as its PARCS provider.

 

Often described as The City of Four Lakes, Madison is the capital of the state of Wisconsin and comprises the four lakes of the Yahara River. The city trademark, its iconic dome modeled after the dome of the US Capitol, is located on the high point of the isthmus between two of them, Lakes Mendota and Monona.

The City of Madison has awarded HUB Parking Technology the contract to install and implement a new and updated PARC system with enhanced technology and functionality. A valued customer of HUB Parking since 2006, we are excited to continue our business relationship with the City of Madison and be a part of the progression and growth of their parking operation.

Thirty-six lanes of equipment including lane entry/exit stations and fee computers for both transient and contract parkers will be spread among six parking facilities throughout the City along with 22 cash and credit card pay-on-foot pay stations. The HUB Parking system will also include a Coding Station for mass validations, VoIP intercom, and peripheral barcode scanners to accommodate validations for special events and promotional opportunities.

City of Omaha Nebraska selects HUB Parking Technology as its PARCS provider

 

 

HUB Parking Technology was recently awarded the contract to replace an outdated Parking Access and Revenue Control system at seven City of Omaha, Nebraska owned and operated parking garages. The facilities are open 24 hours per day, seven days per week with over 5,000 parking spaces and 30 lanes.  The scalable and modular HUB Parking Technology barcode system will include 15 lane entry stations, 15 lane exit stations, 3 fee computers, and 30 barrier gates. Access control equipment will be installed in the lanes and pedestrian door access points as well as an integrated billing and accounts receivable system.  The HUB parking system will also include a Coding Station for mass validations, VoIP intercom, LED garage signage, and integrated mobile payment solution.

 

Controlled from one central location, the HUB Janus Management System (JMS) will allow for streamlined management of all seven City of Omaha garages. Monitoring each facility, occupancy, and specific devices and peripherals will be available to the parking manager(s) at any time and any place.
