IEE Tapped for Replacement Display Contract with Cubic Transportation Systems

4.1-inch LCD Display Integrated into BART, San Francisco Gates

October 2016, Van Nuys, CA—IEE, manufacturer of enhanced displays for military and industrial applications will be producing a 4.1-inch display to be used in ticketing systems for Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), a business unit of Cubic Corporation (NYSE: CUB) and leading integrator of payment and information technology and services for transportation authorities and operators.

The 4.1-inch display replaces a 3.8-inch color LCD display used in a gate system as part of a recent revenue management system update CTS is providing for the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) system.

5.7-inch LCD Display Integrated into Turnstile Gates

January 13, 2016, Van Nuys, CA—IEE, manufacturer of enhanced displays for military and industrial applications was awarded a contract for a new 5.7-inch display to be used in ticketing systems. Utilized on turnstile gates, this display is the latest in a long line of products IEE has developed in conjunction with Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), a business unit of Cubic Corporation and leading integrator of payment and information technology and services for transportation authorities and operators.

“IEE and Cubic Transportation Systems have been working together for over twenty-five years,” said Brian Dietz, Vice President of Engineering for IEE. “Our displays have been integrated into CTS’ product designs, some of the world’s most cutting edge payment and revenue management solutions in the transportation industry, and deployed all over the world.”

Some of the recent projects IEE has completed for CTS include:

4-inch and 15-inch VGA, SVGA and XGA high-performance panels used in ticket vending kiosks in the U.S.
8-inch color LCD used in a gate system for BART, San Francisco
8-inch monochrome LCD for a validator used in ticketing systems

The latest display in development, the 5.7-inch turnstile display is a sunlight readable LCD display used in CTS’ E2 gates around the world.
