City of Inglewood and LAZ Parking Promote Remote Parking and Shuttle Program to Serve Fans for First Full Attendance NFL Season at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium

INGLEWOOD, CA — Following a spectator-less debut NFL season caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium is kicking off its first full-attendance NFL season on August 14th with an exciting hometown rival pre-season game that will see the Los Angeles Rams play the Los Angeles Chargers. In recent weeks, the City of Inglewood announced several transportation options to SoFi Stadium for NFL games—including its partnership with LAZ Parking on the launch of the City’s IPark&Go remote parking and shuttle program. This new initiative will help to promote a more positive experience both for local residents and for event attendees traveling to SoFi Stadium. Because traditional onsite parking options at SoFi Stadium will be limited for NFL games and other large events, the expansion of alternative, high occupancy transportation solutions are intended to provide greener, convenient, and affordable travel options and create a unique event experience in the Los Angeles County area.

IPark&Go: Remote Parking and Shuttle Services
The IPark&Go remote parking and shuttle service offers additional parking solutions for those attending NFL pre-season and regular season games. The service will also be available for select major concerts and other events at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.

The IPark&Go service provides multiple off-site parking locations collectively offering over 4,000 additional parking spaces in the City of Inglewood and convenient surrounding areas. This parking alternative will allow attendees to streamline their parking experience with a convenient, affordable and safe parking option that allows ticket holders to find, reserve, and pay for parking spaces and shuttle service in advance of their event.

After arriving at their parking destination and parking their vehicles, fans and event attendees board a shuttle bus that will take them to the City of Inglewood’sIntermodal Transit Facility, conveniently located next to SoFi Stadium, and back, typically within 30 minutes or less each way.

To use IPark&Go, guests can follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit iPARKANDGO.com to purchase offsite parking and shuttle transport in advance. Parking and shuttle transport can also be booked using the LAZgo mobile app.
  2. Guests should have a parking permit and shuttle passes (printed or on smartphone) ready to be displayed when they reach the offsite lot.
  3. Fans and event attendees using IPark&Go will be dropped off and picked up at the City of Inglewood’s Intermodal Transit Facility, conveniently located within Hollywood Park, steps away from SoFi Stadium.

Note that the exact availability of locations and parking spaces may vary based on the event, and additional parking partners and locations may be added to the IPark&Go program over time. Please check iPARKANDGO.com or the LAZgo mobile app for the most current information on parking availability and pricing.

IPark&Go is available for NFL pre-season and regular season games, starting on August 14, 2021, and is anticipated to be available to guests attending events at SoFi Stadium and the Hollywood Park for events with more than 40,000 attendees.

“LAZ Parking is proud to partner with the City of Inglewood and the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment District and humbled by the trust they have put in us to provide parking solutions to their valued customers,” said LAZ Parking Chairman & CEO Alan Lazowski. “At LAZ, our focus is, and always has been, on providing the best possible customer experience. This partnership is an acknowledgment of our company’s commitment to that goal and the dedication and hard work of our team.”

LAZ Wins Contract to Operate City Trolley Service in Laguna Beach, CA

Reputation and strength in CA market cited in decision. Agreement is fifth Orange Co. trolley contract for LAZ

Hartford, CT,  August 5, 2021 – LAZ Parking announced today that it has been selected to operate the municipal trolley service of the City of Laguna Beach, CA. Under the agreement unanimously approved by the Laguna Beach City Council earlier this year, LAZ will operate 25 City-owned trolleys on a year-round basis, work that will require up to 100 drivers during the peak summer season. The contract runs for five years and comes with two three-year renewal options.

LAZ was deemed the most qualified of the three firms competing for the contract. LAZ already has a significant presence in Orange County, operating similar trolley services in Dana Point, Mission Viejo, Newport Beach, San Clemente, and San Juan Capistrano, CA.

“LAZ’s reputation and impact in the California market were key factors in the decision by the City to award us the contract,” said Alan Lazowski, founder and CEO of LAZ Parking. “This contract is an acknowledgment of our operations and management excellence in transportation services.  We are humbled by the trust the City has placed in us.”

The initial five-year contract calls for LAZ to provide drivers and dispatchers to staff the city trolley service. In partnership with the City, LAZ agreed to retain staff used by the City for trolley services and pay wages comparable to what City employees are currently earning. The City suspended trolley service at the outset of the pandemic but resumed service on June 25.

“The Transportation Division at LAZ has grown at a rapid pace in 2021, adding over 100 new shuttles and busses to its fleet of 540 vehicles since the beginning of the year, including the 25 trolleys we are operating for the City of Laguna Beach,” said Ralph Caldin, Vice President for Transportation Services at LAZ. “The Laguna Beach operation will also include a Micro Transit Program where residents will be able to request On Demand service for certain neighborhoods within the City.”

LAZ Sr. VP Receives Women In Parking IMPACT Award

Andi Campbell one of four LAZ Employees Recognized by the National Parking Association

Hartford, CT – Sept. 17, 2020,  Andi Campbell, Sr. Vice President of Human Resources at LAZ Parking, has been awarded the 2020 Women in Parking IMPACT Award, LAZ CEO Alan Lazowski, announced today.  The honor is given annually by the National Parking Association (NPA) and the Women In Parking Advisory Board.  A panel of industry peers selected Campbell as “an outstanding parking executive who fosters inclusion, professional development and the advancement of parking professionals – particularly women,” according to a letter to Campbell from NPA President Christine Banning.

“As the leader of People + Culture, Andi has been game changer for LAZ,” Lazowski said. “In her eight years at LAZ, she has distinguished herself as an innovator, mentor, and thought leader not only within our company but across the parking industry. I can’t think of anyone more deserving of the honor.”

Campbell joined LAZ in 2012 as Vice President of Talent Development and has been Senior Vice President of HR since 2018. She leads people and culture initiatives at LAZ and is best known for creating scalable “people” strategies that drive measurable results. The award is the latest of many for Campbell. She was named to a “Top 40 Young Trainers” list by Training Magazine in 2012, recognized as a “Game Changer” by Workforce Magazine in 2014, and to a “Top 40 Under 40” list by the NPA in 2015.

“To be acknowledged for work you love doing is humbling,” Campbell said of the IMPACT award. “I want to thank Alan and my LAZ family for creating a work environment that fosters growth and opportunity for me and thousands of other LAZ employees.”

Three other LAZ employees – Maggie DiPaolo, Alex Hooker, and Stephane Adovelande – were named by NPA to this year’s “40  Under 40” list. The awards honor young professionals under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves as rising stars in the parking and transportation industry.

Honorees are identified through a peer-reviewed selection process that recognizes parking professionals who demonstrate innovation, integrity, and excellence. NPA and its Young Professionals Network are growing thanks to a dynamic influx of talent that is expanding as the parking industry evolves, Banning added.

“Our three winners this year have been up-and-comers within our company for some time, so it’s fitting that their talents and drive be recognized by their peers in the industry,” Lazowski said. “These outstanding young professionals are the future leaders of our industry.”

LAZ Parking Implements Measures In Reaction To Impact Of COVID-19

Establishes Employee Relief Fund to Support Temporarily Furloughed Employees

HARTFORD, Conn., March 20, 2020 — Alan Lazowski, Chief Executive Officer of LAZ Parking, underscored his company’s commitment Thursday to protecting customers, clients and employees impacted by the evolving threat of COVID-19, or Coronavirus.

In a separate letter, Lazowski assured employees that the LAZ senior leadership response team is monitoring the unfolding situation, tracking developments, and taking all recommended measures to keep everyone safe.

“The health and safety of our customers, clients, and employees across our 3,100 locations and 423 cities is, and always will be, our highest priority,” Lazowski said. “As this situation continues to unfold, we will closely monitor and take guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and local health officials around the country.”

LAZ is also responding to the significant downturn across all aspects of the economy impacting the industries that LAZ serves, including stadiums, entertainment venues, restaurants, office buildings, hotels, airports, and universities. During these unprecedented times LAZ and its dedicated team of leaders throughout the nation are working tirelessly 24/7 to protect as many jobs as they can and the long-term future of the company.

LAZ has also notified its employees that a percentage of its workforce will be temporarily reduced at this time with the intention of being rehired once the crisis subsides and business rebounds.

“It is going to take difficult sacrifices and federal government intervention to bridge the financial gap created by this pandemic and help our nation’s workforce receive higher unemployment benefits during this crisis,” added Lazowski. “We have been and will continue to be in contact with the highest levels in government in order to advocate for our people, our company and members of the entire parking industry. We are asking that the federal government provide relief to the parking industry and our temporarily reduced workforce and pay as close to 100% of employees’ wages during the layoff period. We are optimistic that the federal government will do the right thing.”

LAZ’ founding partners will not take any pay for at least the next 90 days and have established a $1,000,000 Employee Relief Fund, where furloughed team members can apply for financial grants.  There will be no expectation of grant repayment and the money. Since 1981, LAZ has navigated many business challenges in times of extreme volatility. The company wants to assure the public that the Spirit of LAZ, rooted in its “Never Ever Give Up” attitude, has never been stronger!
