Legacy Parking Company Appoints Midwest Business Development Leader

 

CHICAGO – September 13, 2017 – Legacy Parking Company, a premier parking services provider, announced today the appointment of Michael Beadle as vice president of business development for the Midwest. Beadle will be based in Chicago. Additionally, the company announced further strategic growth developments, including the signing of one new client.

 

Headquartered in downtown Chicago, Legacy Parking Company manages more than 22,000 parking spaces at commercial, mixed-use, retail and residential developments throughout the U.S. Since its founding in 2012, the company has experienced an average 100 percent in annual growth and today employs more than 110 employees. Legacy Parking Company’s clients include sophisticated real estate owners and managers, including Metropolis Investment Holdings, Inc., Transwestern, JLL and Piedmont Office Realty Trust, among many others.

As vice president of business development for the Midwest, Beadle is responsible for the implementation and execution of Legacy Parking Company’s business development strategy throughout the region. This includes working with senior management to hone development strategy, operationalize customer focused acquisition and retention initiatives and establish repeatable business development processes to roll out in additional key operating markets. Beadle will also work with operational teams across the region to develop and implement location level marketing initiatives that maximize the potential of each property under Legacy Parking Company’s management.

Prior to joining Legacy Parking Company, Beadle spent nearly a decade with Hewlett-Packard Financial Services and Hewlett-Packard (Enterprise) where he developed a wealth of enterprise business development experience in markets across the country. Beadle grew the customer base in select Northeast regions and across the entire Southeast territory and worked with organizations to develop tailored financial models for capital preservation that aligned with customer key performance indicators. Beadle ended his tenure with Hewlett-Packard Financial Services as the financial area manager for the Southeast region. In that position, he stabilized and acquired market share in various declining regional territories across the Southeast resulting in a 40 percent year-over-year increase in the territory.

Beadle holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from Indiana University Kelly School of Business.

Through its increased focus on business development, Legacy Parking Company is already adding to its client roster. In July the company announced The Equitable Building Parking Portfolio as a new client. This month, Legacy Parking Company furthers that growth with a new asset in Atlanta:

· Atlanta Financial Center: Atlanta, Georgia, It was recently announced that Legacy Parking Company has been selected to provide parking management services for Atlanta Financial Center. Atlanta Financial Center is a 914,774-square-foot office building located in the Buckhead Business District of Atlanta, Georgia. The office complex is situated directly over Georgia 400 and features three interconnected towers: an 11-story South Tower, a 12-story North Tower and a 19-story East Tower. The parking facility that services the development contains 2,335 parking spaces with a valet operation that services the City Club of Buckhead. Legacy Parking plans to expand the valet program to service key tenants of the complex. Transwestern Commercial Services provides management and leasing for the building.

CHICAGO – July 13, 2017 – Legacy Parking Company, a premier parking services provider, announced today a series of strategic growth developments at the company, including the signing of two new clients as well as the appointment of Noah B. Gens, a 17-year JLL veteran, as president.

Headquartered in downtown Chicago, Legacy Parking Company currently manages more than 20,000 parking spaces at commercial, mixed-use, retail and residential developments throughout the U.S. Since its founding in 2012, the company has experienced an average 100 percent in annual growth and today employs more than 100 employees. Legacy Parking’s clients include sophisticated real estate owners and managers, including Metropolis Investment Holdings, Inc., TransWestern, TIAA-CREF and Piedmont Office Realty Trust, among many others.

Today, Legacy Parking is adding two new clients to its growing roster. Those include:

The Equitable Building Parking Portfolio: Owned and managed by Chicago-based Zeller Realty Group, the Equitable Building at 100 Peachtree in downtown Atlanta includes three parking garages and one surface parking lot totaling 900 parking spaces. The operation includes shuttle services that will transport tenants between the Equitable Building, the Peachtree Center MARTA station and all four parking facilities.
701/801 Brickell Avenue: Owned by TIAA-CREF and managed by JLL, the 701/801 Brickell Avenue (previously known as the Lincoln Center) includes two parking facilities totaling 1,995 parking spaces. The building is located in the northern Brickell Financial District, just three blocks away from Biscayne Bay.

To best position Legacy Parking for continued growth, the company has bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Gens as president. In his new role, Gens is responsible for the development and implementation of Legacy Parking’s corporate operating platform and growth strategy across the U.S. This includes deploying technology to automate processes, streamlining operations and making strategic infrastructure investments to prepare the company for its continued growth. He will also leverage his deep commercial real estate industry expertise, insights and contacts to strengthen existing relationships and develop new connections with owners and managers in key operating markets.

Prior to joining Legacy Parking, Gens spent nearly 25 years in commercial real estate, most recently with JLL, a global professional services and investment management firm specializing in real estate. During his tenure, Gens managed more than 7 million square feet at various commercial real estate assets throughout the city of Chicago, including the Aon Center, NBC Tower and 10 & 120 South Riverside Plaza, among others. At those facilities, Gens was responsible for all aspects of property management, including sales, revenue streams, operating budgets, tenant coordination, capital improvements, leasing and marketing at the assets. Gens’ properties won multiple awards throughout his tenure; most recently, 10 & 120 South Riverside Plaza won a 2017 Regional TOBY Award.

Gens holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University. He is also active in industry associations such as the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago (BOMA/Chicago), where he mostly recently served as chair of the Communications Committee.
