Raleigh launches mobile pay parking app, Passport Parking

Visitors and residents can pay to park with their smartphones throughout downtown

Raleigh, N.C. (March 25, 2019) — Today the City of Raleigh announced the launch of Passport Parking, a mobile app to facilitate payments for parking. Passport, the leading mobility platform provider, works with nearly 600 clients to help them manage their mobility ecosystems.

The citywide launch of Passport Parking comes after a successful pilot, executed with approximately 200 parking spots on Hillsborough Street. Now, the app can be used to pay for parking at more than 1,300 spaces downtown. In addition to using the app to pay for parking, users can extend a parking session remotely, eliminating the need to return to a meter to add more time. Parking session information, payment history and email receipts are also available through the app.

“We are very excited about our partnership with Passport and the deployment of the mobile pay solution to our greater downtown area,” said Paul Kallam, assistant director of infrastructure at Raleigh’s Transportation Department. “Our goal is to improve how we make data-driven decisions and that begins with using state-of-the-art technology for a seamless account of what is happening in our city. We want to continue our efforts to expand on our parking management initiatives, aimed at providing convenient, safe, and easy parking for everyone.”

Now, Passport-powered parking solutions are implemented in three of North Carolina’s largest cities – Raleigh, Charlotte and Durham – as well as Asheville and Wilmington.

“With Passport Parking now available in Raleigh, Passport is thrilled to celebrate another launch in our home state of North Carolina,” said Kelsey Owens, sales director at Passport, “We are dedicated to helping every city transform their mobility management with our technology solutions to create more efficient operations and positive experiences for drivers.”

Drivers can download the free Passport Parking app from the App Store, Google Play or manage online at passportparking.com.

SinglePoint subsidiary ShieldSaver Launches New Mobile Application in Colorado, California and Arizona

SHIELD SAVER AND THE BLOCKCHAIN March 18

SEATTLE, March 18, 2019 — SinglePoint (OTCQB:SING) a fully reporting company with assets in many verticals including mobile technology, cannabis services, blockchain, and renewable energy projects announces the official launch of ShieldSaver. SinglePoint acquired ShieldSaver early 2018 with the intent to disrupt the $12 Billion dollar automotive glass industry. ShieldSaver is now operational in Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and Wally Park’s Denver International Airport (DIA) locations. The company has recently completed its first round of end to end transactions with the newly built interface. This is a huge success for the company and has already sparked interest from other leading companies in the space.

Recently, Dan Shikiar, founder of ShieldSaver joined Greg Lambrecht, CEO of SinglePoint in this video interview to provide an overview and insight to ShieldSaver and how the concept was developed.

SinglePoint ShieldSaver Video Interview

“With the new application SinglePoint led in developing over the past year, we have started to grab a lot of attention. Opportunities have started to pile up after our first showcase – people who see the ShieldSaver platform absolutely love it.  We feel this market is underserved and is ripe for new technologies to streamline for customers and providers,” states Dan Shikiar founder of ShieldSaver.

“We spent over 9 months with our development team completely rebuilding the ShieldSaver platform.  We feel it is one of the most sophisticated apps to date for automotive glass space, and has the potential to expand beyond that vertical to the automotive repair market as well,” states Greg Lambrecht, adding, “Our model for ShieldSaver mirrors that of AirBnB, 1-800-FLOWERS, and other sales aggregators that bring the experience to the consumer.”

Now that the mobile application has been developed and data is being recorded, SinglePoint and ShieldSaver will start the build out of a blockchain solution to append this data. This will help in access and distribution of the data to the key parties that need it.

The Automotive Glass Market surpassed $12 Billion in 2017 and is predicted to exhibit around a 7% CAGR between 2018 and 2024. ShieldSaver has entered into strategic partnerships with some of the largest companies in the space, including Mygrant Glass, Wally Park, LAZ Parking, and others further positioning the company for rapid growth.

Charlotte, N.C. (Aug. 30, 2018) —Inc. magazine recognized North America’s fastest growing companies in its 37th annual Inc. 5000 list, and Passport was named at the top spot among mobility providers. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy. Passport joins an elite group of companies on the Inc. 5000 list, including previously-recognized organizations Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Chobani, Oracle, and Zappos.com.

More municipalities and agencies chose Passport as their mobile payment platform in the past year than any other provider in the industry. In the last 12 months, more than 100 cities implemented the Passport platform in their locations, experiencing cost savings, improved operational efficiencies and a better overall customer experience. Supporting over 450 clients, 5,000 locations and 50 integrations with other technologies, Passport has become the mobility platform that provides unprecedented access to data-driven insights and enables real-time operations management.

“It’s an honor to have Passport recognized by Inc. 5000,” said Passport CEO Bob Youakim. “It goes to show that when you stay true to your vision anything is possible. At Passport, our business strategy is simple: To improve interactions among people and the organizations that serve them. We are laser-focused on our clients’ success and when we keep that front of mind, we can be assured that we’re on the right path.”

In addition to a 1,200%+ revenue growth, Passport has seen its workforce double over the past year, surpassing 150 employees and on its way to nearly 200 employees before the end of the year. Passport’s people-first approach differentiates it from others in the market. From the way that Passport employees take care of clients and app users, to the way they interact with each other, Passport’s unique approach has yielded positive results, including being recognized as one of the top 500 fastest growing companies in North America by Inc. Magazine.

“Each Passporter’s hard work shows in occasions like this,” said Youakim. “We are a team of passionate people dedicated to our clients’ success. The pace of innovation we have set is complemented by our dedication to client success and customer support, all of which aim to advance the way citizens interact with the organizations that serve them.”

This is the first time that Passport has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list after experiencing explosive growth of over 1,200 percent. In December of 2017 Passport announced a $43 million in Series C funding led by Bain Capital Ventures, one of the world’s leading growth equity firms. The firm has its eyes set on expanding internationally into the UK market, making strategic acquisitions and investing in product growth and innovation to better serve its customers.
