ParkHub and JustPark Agree to Merge Alongside Strategic Growth Investment from FTV Capital and LLR Partners

  • Leading US parking solutions provider, ParkHub, and one of the UK’s leading app-based parking platforms, JustPark, agree to merge.
  • Together, ParkHub and JustPark currently serve more than 20 million drivers and over 500 B2B customers, representing $1 billion+ in booking volume.
  • Combination of leading parking technology and payments providers creates robust end-to-end platform to serve entire parking ecosystem in North America and the United Kingdom.
  • This growth acquisition is backed by FTV Capital and existing investor, LLR Partners.

DALLAS and LONDON – March 21, 2024 – ParkHub, a leading North American provider of parking management software and payments solutions, today announced an agreement to combine businesses with JustPark, one of the UK’s leading app-based parking reservations technology and payments platforms. The combination creates a full-service parking software and payments solution for customers across North America and the United Kingdom. As part of this transaction, ParkHub secured a strategic growth investment led by FTV Capital with participation from existing investor LLR Partners.

“After 18 years at the forefront of transforming parking experiences for millions, our merger with ParkHub catapults JustPark to new heights,” said Anthony Eskinazi, founder and CEO of JustPark. “Our dedication to improving the parking experience for drivers continues, and with our cutting-edge technology and unrivalled support, we’re set to revolutionize parking for our customers and partners both here in the UK, and now also in North America.”

ParkHub provides a complete parking technology ecosystem to optimize revenue-driven parking operations, including facilitating payments and delivering real-time business insights for parking operators and venue management companies across North America, serving some of the largest sports and entertainment venues, universities, municipalities and commercial asset holders. JustPark will continue to leverage its technology to facilitate an online marketplace in the UK by matching drivers with available parking spaces and monetizing unused parking capacity. Together, ParkHub and JustPark currently serve more than 20 million drivers and more than 500 B2B customers, representing $1 billion+ in booking volume. JustPark’s Eskinazi will continue to lead the UK business.

“We are excited to invest in JustPark’s vision to provide the world’s best parking experiences and look forward to leveraging the combined company’s capabilities for our marquee customers across North America and the UK,” said Jeff Shanahan, CEO at ParkHub. “Having successfully worked with FTV in the past, I’m confident that their track record and extensive expertise within the vertical software and payments space make them the ultimate value-add partner to complement LLR as we chart this next phase of growth.”

The accelerating transition from cash to digital payments and growing adoption of prepaid parking has precipitated a need for an end-to-end platform that helps high-velocity parking facilities more efficiently manage their parking operations. Adding to this momentum, primary ticketing vendors are increasingly relying on partnerships with prepaid parking providers for on- and off-venue parking to help improve ingress and effectively manage parking reservations. With this acquisition, we believe that ParkHub is well positioned to capitalize on these industry tailwinds by leveraging JustPark’s parking reservations and mobile payments capabilities.

“Both ParkHub and JustPark stand out as category-leading vertical SaaS and payments platforms in their respective markets, and we’re excited to help these two complementary, yet distinct, offerings come together and accelerate growth in the expansive parking software and payments market,” said Kyle Griswold, partner at FTV Capital. “We’re also thrilled for the opportunity to once again partner with both Jeff and LLR. Jeff has been a leader at several successful FTV portfolio companies and has extensive experience growing and scaling vertical software and payments companies.”

“We are thrilled to announce our combination with JustPark, and to partner with Anthony and the entire JustPark team. Together, we will continue to provide our customers and partners with industry leading parking software and payment solutions,” said Ryan Goldenberg, partner at LLR Partners. “In addition, we welcome FTV Capital to ParkHub’s board of directors and look forward to a successful strategic partnership.”

As part of this growth investment, Kyle Griswold and Adam Hallquist, principal at FTV Capital, joined ParkHub’s board of directors.

Founded in 2010, ParkHub provides a fully integrated software and payment processing solution to optimize parking operations, facilitate payments, and deliver real-time business insights to customers in multiple vertical markets, including sports, music & entertainment, higher education, parks & recreation, and other destinations. Through reliable technology, advanced reporting and analytics, and integrations with numerous parking and ticketing solutions, ParkHub helps clients increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Companies on the 2022 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify for the list, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. In addition, companies must be U.S.-based, privately held, for- profit, and independent–not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies–as of December 31, 2021, to qualify for consideration.

ParkHub clocks in at number 3,588 on the 2022 Inc. 5000. The company has achieved 144 percent growth over the most recent three-year interval. That figure reflects an increase from 2021’s 117 percent growth, while in 2020, the three-year growth average was a whopping 369 percent.

The company’s steady success has come through a combination of strong organic growth coupled with key acquisitions to round out ParkHub’s capabilities in software, payments integration, business intelligence, and offerings aimed at new industry sectors. In 2021, ParkHub acquired Bonfire, a provider of campground management software. Last week, the company added payments integrator Fuzse, another Dallas firm known for its expertise at the intersection of payments and software development.

“For many businesses, finding growth is hard, and maintaining it can be much harder,” said George Baker, Founder & CEO of ParkHub. “Inc 5000 recognition for three years running is recognition of our market leadership, the market opportunity, and most of all, keeping close to our clients to meet and anticipate their needs with innovation. I am proud of our team and our continued growth with our recent investment from LLR Partners.”

ParkHub Acquires Fuzse

Dallas tech, community leaders join forces to strengthen the parking software provider’s payments innovation platform.

August 22, 2022 (DALLAS, TX) – ParkHub, a leading provider of parking software and payments solutions, today announced the acquisition of another Dallas technology company, payments integrator Fuzse. The acquisition sees ParkHub increase its commitment to innovation in payments not only through integration with its industry-leading parking management software, but as a key driver of customer insights for the company’s hundreds of customers in an array of industries and destinations.

ParkHub, founded in 2010, provides a fully integrated software and payment processing solution to optimize parking operations, facilitate payments, and deliver real-time business insights to customers in multiple vertical markets, including sports, music & entertainment, higher education, parks & recreation, and other destinations. Through reliable technology, advanced reporting and analytics, and integrations with numerous parking and ticketing solutions, ParkHub helps clients increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

“We are thrilled to bring Fuzse into the ParkHub fold as we strive toward payments leadership in the parking industry,” said ParkHub founder and Chief Executive Officer George Baker, Sr. “The convergence point of our hardware, software, and payments solutions is where our customers compete and win with a better customer experience and rich data to inform every decision.”

Fuzse, launched in 2016, is the latest venture from former Blue Star Payment Solutions (now Stack Sports) executive Lane Conner. The company has grown through supporting independent software vendors (ISVs) and developers looking to integrate payment processing with mobile applications and e-commerce platforms, matching its solutions to multiple APIs and front-end technologies.

Conner has served ParkHub as an advisor since 2015. He will take on the role of President of Payments at ParkHub.

“Lane has been integral to ParkHub’s growth as a longtime advisor to our team,” added Baker. “We’re excited to have him on board full-time in support of our mission to build a world-class company. He shares our values, both professionally and personally, to make a difference in the technology space and leave a legacy here in Dallas.”

“ParkHub is the ultimate platform for us to see how the union of hardware, software, and payments can take our customers on their journey of growth,” said Conner. “Continuous innovation in payments technology has been a big win for everyone: customers have their purchase experience optimized in better and more efficient ways, while the constant updating of a customer’s transaction history can give businesses unbeatable insights for driving their own product and service enhancements.”

Baker and Conner, who have served together as mentors in the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Social Innovation Accelerator and on the Board of Directors for Mayor’s Star Council, have each also been named recently to the Dallas Business Journal 40 Under 40 and the Electronic Transaction Association 40 Under 40 for the financial technology industry.
