SKIDATA wins public tender for the city of Amsterdam to equip 22 parking facilities
Amsterdam/Salzburg, 5. April 2016. The city of Amsterdam puts its confidence in the high-quality access solutions from SKIDATA. The city of Amsterdam exploits more than 25,000 parking lots in 22 garages. The value-based public tender was focused on a long-term partnership to explore future parking technologies, services and innovations like paying by mobile phones and the introduction of e-ticketing.
In the business office and event district Zuidoost the city of Amsterdam exploits more than 11,200 parking lots. One finds here, among other things, the Amsterdam Arena (Ajax Amsterdam Stadium), the Ziggo Dome, the Heineken Music Hall (HMH) as well as a large shopping center and numerous office buildings. They will be equipped with state-of-the-art solutions for vehicle access management.
