Clancy VISION Gets a gold medal at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum™ in Colorado Springs.

Colorado Springs, Colorado: Opening your doors in the peak of a global pandemic is typically not the #1 goal of any public facing facility. Beginning in July of 2020, that’s just the situation presented to our partners at the US Olympic & Paralympic Museum™. The museum was constructed as part of the City for Champions development project in Colorado Springs, CO. Licensing the Olympic name while operating separately from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) this state-of-the-art museum recognizes Olympic and Paralympic athletes who have represented Team USA.

This remarkable $91 million, 60,000-square foot museum is dedicated to American Olympic and Paralympic athletes and their stories. Arriving guests first encounter the Museum’s wide open, free flowing paid parking lot where they can purchase entry passes online or pay at a Kiosk. By deploying the VISION system, the museum can operate gateless with 24/7 parking enforcement by collecting the Vehicle DNA of each vehicle that parks on lot. Any vehicle that does not record a payment is moved into the citation protocol where our agents’ issue, distribute, and collect online from the violator.

The Olympic Museum is fully ADA compliant and interactive. Completely designed so guests of all abilities can see all the museum has to offer and participate equally. Some of the technologies implemented include captions, descriptive audio tracks, gateless parking, assisted listening, RFID-enabled guest lanyards and accessible exhibition spaces and paths. Team USA athletes were involved and consulted throughout the project. Gallagher & Associates designed the museum’s exhibitions while the museum was designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro with an eye toward creating a building in motion.

The AI driven digital parking system was provided by industry leading enforcement technology company Clancy Systems, Inc., and its exclusive partner Fisher Parking & Security, Inc. Boasting a seamless interface to on-site T2 Luke payment kiosks as well as online payments by Parkmobile make this Digital Parking System aa customer service highlight.

About VISION. VISION is a revolutionary digital enforcement and payment system developed by Clancy Systems, Inc. and distributed nationally by Fisher Parking & Security, Inc. for the non-gated surface parking industry. VISION was designed to leverage AI gathered Vehicle DNA to provide 24/7 enforcement and payment services to maximize revenue generation for our partners and asset owners. New Parking Facility Opens at Midway International Airport

Fast Park introduces its first indoor parking facility in time for peak holiday travel

Dec. 6, 2018 – CHICAGO – Fast Park, a leading offsite airport parking company with facilities at some of the nation’s busiest airports, has opened its first facility in Chicago, right down the road from Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW). Officially open for business on December 6, Midway Fast Park is located at 5230 S. Cicero Ave., near S. Archer Ave. It’s the company’s first fully enclosed airport parking facility.

“We’ve been looking for an opportunity to introduce the Fast Park brand to this bustling Chicago market for quite some time,” said Melanie Chavez, executive vice president of construction and branding at Fast Park. “The demand for convenient parking options close to MDW, coupled with our proximity to Chicago, made this growing market very attractive. Finding indoor warehouse space that we could convert to a fully enclosed parking facility this close to the airport has allowed us to respond to the market’s demand for convenient, indoor parking.”

Construction to renovate the indoor parking facility began in early 2018. The new facility will offer Fast Park’s trademark services as well as a few location-specific amenities:

  • Indoor parking
  • Complimentary FastCharge EV Charging Stations – 6 universal and 6 Tesla Superchargers (reservations required)
  • No walking, no waiting, no worries® car-to-airport terminal shuttle service
  • Complimentary luggage assistance
  • Weekday newspaper upon entry (6–8 a.m. while supplies last) and bottled water upon exit
  • Emergency car services including battery and tire inflation assistance

To celebrate the grand opening, Fast Park is offering guests 30 percent off ($14 per day, which includes taxes and airport fees) through Jan. 31, 2019. Guests signing up for Fast Park’s Relax for Rewards loyalty program can make free reservations and earn points toward free parking with each visit.

With the anticipated demand for indoor parking accommodations – especially during the winter months and peak holiday travel season – reservations are highly recommended.

Fast Park has offered comfortable and consistent service to travelers across the country for more than three decades. The Fast Park brand continually seeks to elevate guests’ experiences, introducing innovative ways to make airport parking as effortless as possible.
