301 Hillsborough Street Launches Mobile Parking App in Raleigh Location

Raleigh, NC- The Lundy Group, the locally owned and operated full service commercial real estate company, has introduced a mobile payment option for drivers to conveniently pay for parking at 301 Hillsborough Street. 301 Hillsborough Street has launched Passport, North America’s leading mobile payments provider for parking and transit, at their 301 Hillsborough St. location in Raleigh.

With the Passport app, drivers can easily and securely pay for parking with their credit card. Users can begin a parking session, monitor their time, and even extend their stay (up to the maximum allotted time) remotely.

Passport signage in the 301 Hillsborough Street lot will direct users to download the app. It will also designate the zone number for parkers to enter. Once users have started their parking session, enforcement officers will be able to tell that parkers have paid by checking their handheld devices.

“This is a very exciting initiative for our parking operations,” said James Baker, President and Founder of The Lundy Group. “Passport has allowed us to offer a credit card option to our customers without the expenses associated with parking hardware. The Passport team are industry experts — they quickly and efficiently set up the features we needed to make sure this technology is as convenient for our customers as possible.”

Ann Arbor, MI – The University of Michigan is bringing a new way to pay for visitor parking on campus. The campus is introducing the Passport mobile app, which allows drivers the convenience of paying for parking right from their smartphone. With Passport’s solution, drivers will be able to manage their parking from any phone, tablet, or computer on hand. Users can even extend their parking session from the app without having to walk back to the parking pay station.

“The use of this evolving technology to provide an additional method of payment for our students, visitors and guests offers not only convenience and efficiency for those parking, but potential savings from reduced operating and maintenance costs for the University, said Diane DeLaTorre, Associate Director of Parking Operations and Maintenance. “Card payment now comprises up to eighty percent of the payments received at our typical visitor parking location, so now is the right time to introduce the Passport app.”

“We’re very excited to be partnering with the University of Michigan to make parking more convenient on campus,” said Alexandra Wells, Sales Associate at Passport. “This app will save students time when they pay for parking and give them flexibility so that they can extend their parking session right from their phone.”

Once parked, signs in the campus lots will instruct users to download the PassportParking app in the iPhone App Store or Android Google Play. Smartphone users can also use the new service by going to ppprk.com to create their account.
