Through the partnership, all OVG venues will have access to ParkMobile for parking reservations and on-site digital payments.

Philadelphia, PA  October 19, 2022 –  ParkMobile, the No. 1 digital parking payment solution in North America, announced today a new partnership with Oak View Group (OVG), the leading global venue development, advisory, and investment company for both the sports and live entertainment industries. The partnership will improve the guest experience by offering digital payments at OVG’s stadiums, arenas, performing arts centers, convention centers, fairgrounds, and casinos around the country. With ParkMobile as an official parking payments partner for OVG, guests will be able to reserve and guarantee parking in advance of attending and/or digitally pay onsite for events at over 150 venues.

“Our partnership with ParkMobile has been in the works for over two years now. We’re thrilled to officially announce ParkMobile as a parking payments partner and start working with them at our venues,” said Joe Leung, Vice President of Parking & Mobility, OVG360, which is the third-party, service-oriented division of OVG. “We’re looking forward to enhancing our overall guest experience by allowing fans to make parking reservations in advance of events and, in some cases, pay digitally onsite. OVG manages or owns-and-operates venues across the globe, including many in cities where ParkMobile is already active. Some of the most recognizable venues include Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, Iowa, PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa., Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pa., Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, Calif., Miami Beach Convention Center, Fair Park in Dallas, and UBS Arena in New York.

Reserving a parking space is quick and easy. A user can view a full list of upcoming events with all the available parking options on the ParkMobile app or the venue’s reservation page. The user can then reserve a space, which can be redeemed at the parking lot on the day of the event using a mobile or printed pass. Reservations can also be made through the ParkMobile app on both iPhone and Android devices.

City of El Paso Launches New and Improved Mobile Parking App – Park 915 Powered by ParkMobile

ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America, announced today the launch of the Park 915 app in the City of El Paso. This new app will replace the Park El Paso app effective in early May as new stickers and signs are posted on meters around the city. The Park 915 app enables people to easily pay for on-street parking right from their mobile device and is now available at nearly 2,000 parking meters concentrated in Downtown and Uptown around El Paso.

“We are excited to partner with the City of El Paso on the new Park 915 app,” says Jon Ziglar, CEO of ParkMobile. “With over 800,000 ParkMobile users in Texas, we’re providing people with a smarter way to park as they travel throughout the state.”

Users of the old Park El Paso app, powered by Passport will have to download the Park 915 app for iPhone or Android devices and create a new account. The ParkMobile app will also be accepted in the city.

To pay for parking using the Park 915 app, users simply enter the zone and space numbers posted on the stickers and signs around the meter, choose the duration of time they wish to park, and touch the “start parking” button. The Park 915 app will send alerts when the parking session is about to expire so a user can extend time right from the app.

Additionally, the Park 915 app shows a map view of where the available parking spots are in the city so that people can avoid the areas with no parking and drive directly to the streets where there are open spots, saving time and frustration.

With the launch of the Park 915 app, ParkMobile continues to expand its presence in Texas. ParkMobile already has almost 800,000 users in the state with the service currently available in Dallas, Houston, Austin, Fort Worth, Amarillo, Texas A&M University, and University of North Texas. ParkMobile also offers event parking reservations at major sports and entertainment venues across the state including BBVA Compass Stadium, NRG Stadium, Minute Maid Park, Kyle Field, and McCombs Field.

“Park 915 provides a much better user experience, showing people in real time exactly where the available parking spots are in the city so that people can avoid the areas with no parking and drive directly to the streets where there are open spots, saving time and frustration. The new app allows users to pay right from their phones and receive alerts when the parking sessions are about to expire,” International Bridges Department Director David Coronado said.

Flowbird: Jim Thorpe, PA Launches Whoosh! Payment App on NEW Flowbird Kiosks

Jim Thorpe, PA Launches Whoosh! Payment App on NEW Flowbird Kiosks

The Borough of Jim Thorpe is excited to announce that on Monday June 18, 2018, 7 new Solar-powered StradaPAL pay stations will be installed and ready to use on Broadway, Hazard Square and Susquehanna Street.  Patrons can pay with coin, cash, credit card of through the “Whoosh” mobile phone application.

According to police Chief Joe Schatz, all necessary training has been completed and everything is in place to begin using Flowbird’s Parkeon StradaPAL solar-powered kiosks, which will replace the borough’s 77 old coin-operated meters.

Butts Ticket Company, a Flowbird Group partner, installed seven StradaPAL machines throughout Broadway, Hazard Square and Susquehanna Street in late April, however, they have been covered up as the borough makes the transition.

“On Monday, there will be ambassadors here in town to help individuals get acclimated to the kiosks and, in particular, explain how the mobile app, Whoosh, that accompanies the machines, works,” Schatz said.

Whoosh! is a mobile parking payment solution app development by Flowbird. The app allows the user to pay for parking directly through their mobile device, including time expiration reminders and remote parking extension.

After motorists park, they can follow signs to the kiosk stations and pay with cash, quarters, credit card or the app. Once the machine dispenses a ticket, the motorist can place it on their dash and be on their way.

“The nice thing is in addition to being able to use credit and debit cards, customers can add time from the Whoosh mobile phone application if they are out on the go,” Schatz said. “They no longer have to run back to the meter to feed it.”

According to Mayor Mike Sofranko, the older meter mechanisms will be sold or auctioned off.

Throughout next week, Jim Thorpe Public Works employees will be removing the old parking meters as well as erecting new parking signs.
