Hartford, Connecticut – Propark Mobility announced today that Peter Thorson has been promoted to the company’s Executive Vice President.

“Since joining Propark, Pete Thorson has made dramatic impacts in various core areas of our business operations,” said David Schmid, Propark Mobility’s Chief Investment Officer. “He has helped drive significant portfolio growth and asset value appreciation for clients within his own region, while simultaneously integrating himself in a variety of other aspects of Propark and its unique processes, driving further success across the country and creating new opportunities for himself and the company.”

Peter joined Propark in 2015 as the company’s Vice President of Operations, responsible for overseeing, developing, and growing Propark’s Southwestern United States region. His most recent position with the company as Senior Vice President included responsibility for the management of Propark’s client relationships, organizational development, growth, acquisitions, technology development and implementation, customer retention, and internal controls across all verticals.

Joe Caputo Promoted to Senior Vice President of Propark Mobility’s Southwest Region

 

 

Hartford, Connecticut – Propark Mobility announced today that the company has promoted Joe Caputo to Senior Vice President of the organization’s Southwest Region.

Joe joined Propark in 2019 as the company’s Vice President of Operations, spearheading the Hospitality Division in Southern California. He was subsequently promoted to Regional Vice President and took on a greater role across all parking verticals in the expanding Southwest Region, leveraging nearly 20 years of parking experience, paired with his and passionate leadership style and ability to build world-class teams, in order to propel successful financial results for our clients. This was largely achieved through the execution of goal-driven operational plans, helping to enhance client profitability through creative financial strategies. Propark Mobility Selected by CampusParc to Manage Parking for The Ohio State University

 

 

Columbus, Ohio – Propark Mobility announced today that it has partnered with CampusParc, the concessionaire for the long-term parking lease at The Ohio State University, to provide parking management services for the institution.

“We’re proud to partner with CampusParc to provide Propark’s leading parking management solutions on The Ohio State University campus,” said Stephen Duffy, Chief Strategy Officer, Propark. “Our decades of experience serving universities and stadiums, alongside our continuous growth in the region, position us to make significant contributions to the campus parking experience and the overall community.”

Propark will provide parking management services for Ohio State’s Columbus campus, which features nearly 37,000 parking stalls and 16 garages. Employing more than 250 team members for the operation, Propark will implement parking solutions that effectively streamline the parking process and enhance the campus experience for more than 65,000 university students and over 40,000 faculty and staff members, as well as millions of sporting event attendees and patients every year.

CampusParc is beginning the 11th year of the long-term parking lease. Jennifer joined Propark in 2020, after enjoying 31 successful years in the hospitality industry. Her storied career included 26 years with Marriott International and five years as the General Manager of the Hilton Denver Inverness. As Regional Vice President at Propark, Jennifer was tasked with growing the company’s presence in the Denver market. Over the past two years, she has effectively identified opportunities for development and successfully expanded the company’s Mountain Region portfolio and team. In addition, Jennifer has led the charge in establishing Women of Propark, a companywide initiative that promotes leadership and professional growth, as well as diversity and enrichment, for all Propark team members.

Her keen attention to detail, extensive knowledge of the field, and versatile analytical talents have driven her success at the company, where she most recently served as Director of Business Analytics.

Joshua Crain Appointed as Vice President of Technology for Propark Mobility

 

 

 

Hartford, Connecticut – Propark Mobility announced today that Joshua Crain has been promoted to the company’s Vice President of Technology.

“Josh Crain has been a key leader in transforming Propark Mobility from a national parking services leader to a leading mobility and technology company,” said David Schmid, Propark Mobility’s Chief Investment Officer. “From proprietary software development to our Cloudpark suite of technology services, Josh has been instrumental in each of our tech-centric processes as we continue to chart new pathways to success in this particular space.”

Josh’s career with Propark began in 2013, when he joined the company as a data scientist. He immediately began to take ownership of the new software department and over time took over management responsibilities of Cloudpark Command, the company’s in-house operations Command Center. His most recent role was Manager of Software Engineering, where he led the company’s technology and software development teams.

“Josh is always thinking way outside of the box, and that’s what allows him to push boundaries that we didn’t realize existed,” said Richard DiPietro, Propark’s President. “His thought leadership is impressive, and he inspires the team around him to reach new heights with respect to the products and services that Propark Mobility develops for our clients and end users.”

Kyle joined Propark in July of 2014 after retiring from playing minor league baseball for the Los Angeles Angels. As a Leadership Development Associate, Kyle spent 20 months learning the industry and working various positions as part of the program’s accelerated curriculum. In March of 2016, he transferred from the San Francisco Bay Area Regional Office to the Hartford Corporate Office, where he served as an Operations Analyst, Senior Operations Analyst, and then Corporate Director, Operations Analytics, as his career trajectory continued. Prior to his current position, Kyle most recently held the position of Assistant Vice President, Corporate Analytics.

Propark Mobility Grows Boston Asset Management Portfolio by Acquiring Pilgrim Parking

 

 

 

Boston, Massachusetts – Propark Mobility announced today that the company has purchased Boston-based Pilgrim Parking, significantly enhancing its footprint in the region.

“Pilgrim Parking is a celebrated and well-known Boston institution,” said Richard DiPietro, Propark’s President. “The acquisition of this longstanding brand is a dramatic statement of growth for Propark in this marketplace, which is one that we have wanted to expand in for many years.”

For 57 years, Pilgrim Parking has been providing services to a variety of businesses in the Greater Boston area. The company currently has over 30 locations, with 250 employees and a fully-staffed administrative office in the City of Boston. As part of the acquisition, 100 percent of employees from Pilgrim’s locations are being retained, along with the company’s branding and existing service ideals.
