Denver, Colorado – Propark Mobility announced today that Scott Gladney has been brought on to serve as the company’s Senior Vice President of Operations for the company’s Mountain Region.

As a hospitality professional with nearly two decades of industry experience and an MBA in Strategic Business Analytics, Scott most recently served as General Manager for Sage Hospitality Group, where he prided himself on driving hospitality operations successes through creating memorable guest satisfaction experiences and building a culture of leadership that transcended hospitality. Holding positions of General Manager and Regional Manager over his career, his brand operations leadership experience has resulted in steady hotel financial improvement and further opened doors for Scott to share his passion for hospitality with others. Scott imparted his wisdom by teaching and mentoring students as an Affiliate Professor of Hospitality at Metropolitan State University of Denver’s School ofHospitality for more than six years, inspiring the next generation of hospitality service professionals.

Hartford, Connecticut – Propark Mobility announced today that Peter Thorson has been promoted to the company’s Executive Vice President.

Peter joined Propark in 2015 as the company’s Vice President of Operations, responsible for overseeing, developing, and growing Propark’s Southwestern United States region. His most recent position with the company as Senior Vice President included responsibility for the management of Propark’s client relationships, organizational development, growth, acquisitions, technology development and implementation, customer retention, and internal controls across all verticals.

Propark Mobility Grows Los Angeles Presence by Acquiring Imperial Parking Industries, Inc.

 

 

Los Angeles, Calif. – Propark Mobility announced today that the company has purchased Los Angeles-based Imperial Parking Industries, Inc. (IPI), expanding its area portfolio by 75 percent.

“As a leader in the Los Angeles area, Imperial Parking offers a regional expertise that, when combined with Propark’s national network and back-end systems, will propel both companies forward,” said David Schmid, Propark’s Chief Investment Officer. “Building these meaningful, beneficial connections is a core component of Propark’s mission, and we felt it was more important than ever to approach this conversation with honesty and transparency so we could do right by Imperial’s founders, honor their legacy, and continue our growth in the L.A. market.”

Founded in 1997, Imperial Parking has provided leading parking management services to premium properties throughout the Los Angeles area, including a strong focus in Beverly Hills. The company operates 34 locations, which include healthcare facilities and Class A office buildings, as well as residential and commercial properties. As part of the acquisition, Propark will retain 100 percent of IPI’s frontline staff, with President Kia Shakoori remaining at the helm.

COLUMBUS, Ohio – CampusParc, the concessionaire for the Long-Term Parking Lease at The Ohio State University, announced today that it has selected Propark Mobility to operate The Ohio State University Parking System effective January 1, 2023. Over the past nine years, CampusParc has focused on partnering with the university to provide efficient delivery of parking services and products, while exploring new approaches that move towards a more seamless and simple parking experience for customers.

San Francisco, Calif. – Propark Mobility announced today that Luis Garcia, Senior Vice President of Mobility for the company’s mobility sector, will now lead its university, corporate campus, municipality, and stadium divisions.

Throughout his tenure at Propark, Garcia has been a leader of the company’s mobility initiatives, previously implementing a suite of mobility programs at Google’s Corporate Headquarters in Mountain View, Calif. In his first year as Senior Vice President of Operations, he has developed Propark’s business model to respond to the changing landscape of the parking industry. Now, Garcia will leverage his mobility expertise and operations experience to further enhance services within Propark’s university, campus, municipality, and stadium divisions.

Propark Mobility Turns Empty Parking Lot into A Drive-In Movie to Benefit Local Food Bank

 

 

 

Hartford, Connecticut – Propark Mobility announced today that the company has raised nearly

 

 

$1,000 for Foodshare, Greater Hartford’s largest anti-hunger organization, at the recent Park & View Family Movie Night at Z Airport Parking in East Granby, Connecticut.

 

“With everything taking place in today’s world, we felt that we could take our empty parking lot and, for one night, convert it into an entertaining family experience before we reopened for business at Bradley Airport,” explained John Schmid, Chief Executive Officer of Propark Mobility. “Through sponsorships and donations, we were able to take a fun night and turn it into something even more meaningful by giving back to our community.”

 

The Park & View Family Movie Night at Z Airport Parking featured a showing of the 1987 classic movie, Spaceballs. The event was sponsored by a variety of local businesses, including Feury Image Group, Preferred Electric and Go Graphix, and was attended by over one-hundred people. Staff from Propark Mobility’s corporate headquarters in Hartford volunteered time at the event.

 

“Propark’s ‘Carma’ charitable outreach program is important to us, and to have some of our trusted vendors join us in our cause to fight hunger during this global pandemic was inspirational,” said Joe Coppola, Propark Mobility’s Managing Partner. “We’re honored to be able to work alongside some great businesses to raise money for Foodshare to provide up to 2,000 meals to help fight hunger here in Connecticut, and we had a lot of fun doing so.”
