Texas Parking & Transportation Association’s Board of Directors

Houston, Texas – Winpark announced today that the company’s Regional Vice President of Operations, Nicole Chinea, CAPP, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Texas Parking & Transportation Association (TPTA).

“The entire Winpark family would like to congratulate Nicole for this exciting opportunity,” declared Liliana Rambo, Winpark’s president. “Nicole is an exceptional parking and transportation industry professional and I know she will continue to do great work for the TPTA as she increases the scope of her role within the organization.”

Chinea’s experience in the industry is robust and diverse. Prior to joining Winpark in July of 2016, Chinea served as a Senior Associate for Walter P. Moore Consulting Services, where she led the consulting and studies team. Chinea was also the Director for Texas Medical Center’s transportation and parking operations and, prior to that, she served as a Project Manager for the City of Houston’s Parking Management Division.

“I’m truly honored to serve the TPTA in a greater capacity,” said Chinea, who also donates her time to the organization’s Membership Committee, in addition to several other volunteer positions. “I am looking forward to positively impacting the association and its members, through concerted efforts to expand educational initiatives and programs.”

Chinea is a Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. In addition to her work with the TPTA, she is also a member of the International Parking Institute’s Education Development Committee.

His focus on technology and sustainability within parking resulted in one of the assets under his management to achieve the first Green Garage Certification through the Green Parking Council.

Winpark: Winpark’s Lauren Nelson Honored with Texas Parking & Transportation Association Award

Winpark’s Lauren Nelson Honored with Texas Parking & Transportation Association Award

Houston, Texas –Winpark announced today that the company’s Senior Parking Operations Manager, Lauren Nelson, was honored in the parking employee category of the 2016 Texas Parking & Transportation Association’s Awards of Excellence .

“We are all very proud of Lauren’s accomplishments,” proclaimed Liliana Rambo, Winpark’s president. “Lauren’s tireless efforts for Winpark, our clients and the parking industry as a whole are worthy of recognition. This award is the culmination of all of her impressive achievements.”

Nelson joined Winpark in 2013 with over eight years of management experience, in addition to her degree in hotel and restaurant management. She is currently responsible for overseeing multiple parking operations, including the Williams Tower garage, parking management for JPMorgan Chase in Austin, and valet service for Memorial Hermann Hospital and Houston Orthopedic Surgical Hospital.

“Lauren’s contributions to Winpark are substantial,” continued Rambo. “Her management acumen has resulted in positive bottom line gains for our clients and improved service delivery for all guests at the accounts under her supervision.”

Nelson is a member of the Texas Parking & Transportation Association, and also serves as an active member of the International Parking Institute’s Research Committee. Additionally, Lauren is an active supporter of autism awareness and ALS charities.
