RABOBANK ARENA TO ACCEPT PARKING PAYMENTS WITH STADIUMPARK’S MOBILE APP
Bakersfield, CA- StadiumPark, a mobile payment app for stadium, arena, and event parking will launch at Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey “Out of This World” September 9th-11th at Rabobank Arena, Theater and Convention Center in Bakersfield. StadiumPark’s app will provide attendees with a quick, easy and cash-less way to pay for their parking at Bakersfield Condors games and other events hosted at the arena. Every parking lot entrance managed by AEG will accept StadiumPark.
The app is available on the Apple App Store and will be available on the Google Play Store prior to the event. StadiumPark users sign up with their name, email and payment information, which is then stored in the app. Upon approaching a venue parking lot where StadiumPark is accepted, the user opens the app and a scanner appears. The parking attendants are equipped with a QR code, which resembles an ID badge. The user scans the attendant’s QR code, the payment is processed and a receipt appears on the user’s device. This receipt is shown to the attendant for validation and allowed into the parking lot.
StadiumPark and AEG, who manages over 120 venues throughout the world, have been working together to choose the best location to begin their service. Rabobank Arena was a perfect choice as it operates a significant amount of parking, has no cashless payment method and most importantly, a staff which is extremely excited to make certain StadiumPark is a great success. “By partnering with StadiumPark, we hope to make parking at Rabobank Arena, Theater and Convention Center even more convenient for our guests,” said AEG Bakersfield General Manager Jon Dorman.
The founder of StadiumPark, Jeremy Crane says, “We couldn’t be more excited to be working with AEG and Rabobank Arena. We are looking forward to strengthening their parking operation while enhancing their fan experience!”
