FOR INTERNATIONAL SALES ACHIEVEMENT
Small Company Commended for Expanding Exports, Supporting Local Jobs
CLEARWATER, Fla. – Clearwater-based Robotic Parking Systems received a U.S. Commercial Service Export Achievement Award on Dec. 13, 2021, for successfully expandingits exports to Kuwait. The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade and investment promotion arm of the Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA).
Robotic Parking Systems is building 2,433 automated parking spaces for The New Palace of Justice in Kuwait, which will be the world’s tallest and largest judicial building. Once completed, The New Palace of Justice is expected to become the new Guinness World Record holder for “Largest Automated Parking Facility.” This will be the third such record held by Robotic Parking Systems’ garages.
The award was presented by U.S. Commercial Service Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary Joseph Hanley, who commended Robotic Parking Systems for seizing new opportunitiesoutside the United States and serving as a role model for other firms contemplating exporting.
“Small businesses play an important role in placing ‘Made in America’ products in global markets,” Hanley said. “I hope other companies will follow your example and reach out tolocal resources, such as the U.S. Commercial Service, that are available to guide U.S. companies through every step of the export process.”
Congressman Charlie Crist (FL-13) shared the following message for Robotic Parking Systems: “So well deserved and so worked hard for, I am sure. Congratulations to you, it will be a showplace for the world.”

The U.S. Commercial Service awards Export Achievement Certificates to U.S. companies that have made their first export sale, expanded to new foreign markets, or exported a new product line to an existing export market, all of which create and support American jobs.
