Partnering with Automated Gates and Equipment and Secure A Site, a comprehensive access control solution was provided for the Local Water and Sewer district in South King County Washington.

Automated Gates and Equipment included TagMaster NA early in their design process for a collaborative approach to ensure the highest performance and comprehensive vehicle tracking and access control solution on the market. AG&E offered a variety of services for the project from detailed shop drawings with critical measurements, to formed and poured concrete footings for the gate operators, keypad and the TMNA Automated Vehicle Identification Solution. Secure A Site installed the high-security gates and fencing for the project. With the wide scope of capabilities and their knowledgeable team the installation and planning process was smooth, easy and ultimately extremely successful. TMNA’s turnkey access control solution was easy to use and learn and provides the users and water and sewer district with crucial data and information they need to optimize and streamline their operations.

The TagMaster NA LR Series RFID equipment offers a solution impervious to electromagnetic interference and programmable frequency hopping to ensure optimized performance in any environment. Tag options include our windshield or hang tag mounted S1255 MarkTag Classic and S1355 Ruggedized Outdoor tag. This project is part of the development of their new Headquarters building and a quintessential part of automating vehicle access and facility oversight.

The ACTS Advanced Software Solution offered by TagMaster NA and deployed and implemented by Automated Gates & Equipment addresses a wide range of challenges for commercial and municipal vehicles in a demanding environment. Vision Components presents new software and hardware products for vision OEMs at two booths at the 2019 embedded world exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany. At the main booth (#2-444), everything revolves around VC Z series embedded vision systems. These are now available with an even wider variety of CMOS sensors, including several Sony Pregius sensors. Vision Components achieves outstanding clock rates, for example 88 fps at resolutions up to 3.2 MP or 170 fps at 1.6 MP. In addition, all VCnanoZ camera models are optionally available with application-specific LED lighting integrated in the standard housing.

The latest embedded laser profiler is also on exhibit. Vision Components’ proprietary ambient light suppression technology enables measurements under up to 100,000 lux with this product. The 3D laser scanner contains a Xilinx Zynq module, a system on chip (SoC) with an FPGA and a high-performance ARM processor. The FPGA handles all calculation of 3D data. The ARM processor clocked at 2 x 866 MHz can be freely programmed for other application-specific tasks such as gray value analysis. This enables additional 2D inspection tasks to be performed with just the one system. The company also demonstrates vehicle make and model recognition based on deep learning algorithms. It is suitable as a standalone solution or can be used in combination with the Carrida license plate recognition (ALPR) software in order to increase accuracy. This tool has a wide range of possible applications in access control, traffic monitoring, and smart city matters.

The new FinanceAdmin package is designed with streamlined financial tracking and accounts receivable functions fully integrated with the parking management tool. This add-on will provide our clients with a much more robust payment system then ever before. 

 

 

With FinanceAdmin, parking departments have easy administrative controls for key items like monthly rollover billing, prorated permit sales, automatic payments, billing rate codes, accounts receivable reporting, and customized invoicing. All of the recurring payments, monthly permits, annual permits, can be automated and are fully PCI DSS secure supporting both EFT and credit card billing.
