Blink Charging and Veris Residential to Offer Haus25 Residents in New Jersey Access to State-of-the-Art EV Charging Stations

Sustainability-Focused Luxury Apartment Building will be Equipped with 24 EV Charging Ports

Miami Beach, Fla. & Jersey City, N.J., Sept. 12, 2022  — Blink Charging Co. (Nasdaq: BLNK, BLNKW) (“Blink”), a leading owner, operator, and provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment and services, and Veris Residential, Inc., a forward-thinking, environmentally and socially conscious REIT that primarily owns, operates, acquires, and develops Class A multifamily properties, today announced the deployment of 24 of Blink’s EV charging ports at Veris Residential’s newly-built, sustainability-focused, luxury apartment high-rise Haus25, located at 25 Christopher Columbus Drive in Jersey City, NJ.

“Most EV drivers want to be able to charge their EV’s where they live and Veris Residential is helping them do just that,” said Brendan Jones, president at Blink Charging. “We are honored to work with Veris Residential to provide a valuable service to their residents and look forward to our continued relationship with them to bring more EV charging stations to other Veris Residential sites.”

As the only complete, end-to-end global EV charging provider, delivering advanced technology solutions for all EV customers—including consumers, fleets, businesses, retailers, developers, and municipalities—Blink’s unique owner-operator model provides customers and partners with industry-leading charging stations for every location and a 360-degree solution that they can rely on in a rapidly evolving market. By partnering with Blink to provide Haus25 residents with access to EV charging ports, Veris Residential is supporting its mission of being a responsible, sustainable, inclusive, and equitable member of the built environment.

“Veris Residential is thrilled to cooperate with Blink, an innovative provider of fast and effective EV charging solutions, as we continue to redefine environmentally-friendly living,” said Karen Cusmano, Senior Vice President, Head of Sustainability and ESG at Veris Residential. “As the first U.S. real estate company to sign the Climate Group’s EV100 initiative and commit to installing EV charging across our portfolio by 2030, partnering with Blink to bring these stations to Haus25 takes us one step closer to achieving our goal of increasing EV charging capacity for our residents.”

While studies have shown that up to 85% of EV charging happens at home, to date, a limited number of apartments and condominiums have offered such access to their residents. In light of the potential of providing EV charging to the estimated 80 million Americans currently living in multiunit buildings, Blink is seeking to meet a need desired by EV drivers while helping to move the U.S. forward in its decarbonization goals. Specifically, by offering the most flexibility in the industry, Blink’s personalized and strategic business models allow customers to achieve their goals, whether that means owning, partnering with, or hosting their charging infrastructure.

To this end, Blink has installed 12 IQ 200 dual chargers at Haus25, providing 24 charging ports for residents and visitors of the complex. Blink IQ 200, the fastest Level 2 AC charging station available, produces 80 amps of output that provide approximately 65 miles of charge per hour and is compatible with any battery-electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle. When fully implemented at Haus25, the building will deliver yet another best-in-class amenity that meets the environmentally conscious lifestyle preferences for today’s residents, as well as standards required to achieve LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

Additional sustainable amenities featured at Haus25 include: SOURCE hydropanels, which use solar technology to harness water in the air; WaterSense labeled fixtures, which maximize water flow efficiency; bioretention swales, to collect runoff water and percolate the soil; and energy efficient power units which convert natural gas into electricity and heat while also providing on-site generation. The building is also completely smoke-free, uses enhanced indoor air quality measures, offers more than 37,000 square feet of garden and outdoor spaces and provides residents with access to Logical Buildings’ app that shares real-time energy usage and carbon footprint data to improve efficiency.

INF Associates, a turnkey EVSE installer and energy consultant, worked with Blink and Veris Residential to execute the installation of the IQ 200 chargers—capturing incentives for Veris Residential through PSE&G’s Clean Energy Future – Electric Vehicle (EV) Program and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities MUD grants—funding that was instrumental in developing an EVSE strategy for Haus25 and its residents.

TKH Security: Mercy Hospital Puts Parking Experience First When Designing New Garage

TKH Security: Mercy Hospital Puts Parking Experience First When Designing New Garage

CHESHIRE, CT – September 6, 2022 – TKH Security (formerly Park Assist) has been awarded an Automated Parking Guidance System (APGS) contract by Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  In Summer 2023, Mercy Hospital St. Louis is scheduled to complete a new, state of the art, five level Mercy Ballas Multispecialty Center across the street from the primary medical facility. A new high-tech parking structure is also a part of the project.

A recent 2022 Excellence in Patient Experience Award Winner, Mercy Hospital’s patient centric approach to healthcare begins the moment each patient enters the parking garage. “We looked at everything. Nothing was off the table,” said Dr. Jeff Ciaramita, president Mercy Clinic in the St. Louis region. “Mercy’s mission is to get health care right and we know that when patients are dealing with health concerns, they need ease. We must make everything from finding a parking spot to wait times easier for our patients. By enabling them to plan and take charge, we provide calm in the midst of sometimes challenging health care needs.”

The first touchpoint of a seamless patient experience, the high-tech parking garage will provide 973 new parking spaces.  Patients will be able to find an available parking spot efficiently with our new M5 camera-based APGS. The bright, red and green color-coded LED light on the smart sensors instantly visually direct patients to available spaces.  Reducing time to parking by up to 63%, our APGS allows patients to sign in at their appointment quickly. Finding a parking space quickly can also reduce stress many feel during the parking process.

“I’m excited to work with Mercy Hospital on their primary focus – customer experience first. Parking is a customer’s first touchpoint of their visit, not the inside of a doctor’s office.,” said Jeff Sparrow, TKH Security Regional Account Manager.  “In the parking industry, the customer experience is becoming more top of mind. Our products and services align perfectly with this focus. I’m looking forward to working on more customer centric projects.”

Mercy Hospital’s APGS package also includes:

  • Park Alerts, which notify operators when certain vehicles enter the building including VIPs,
  • Park Surveillance to capture streaming video when motion is detected in or around a space, or continuously if desired,
  • And our API package that will provide Mercy Hospital with a secure connection to a limitless set of third-party parking related solutions.

From Mercy’s project concept to completion, TKH Security is proud to also partner with Schaeffer Electric Co., Inc., Walker Consultants, and Alberici Constructors.

with UL Solutions Certification

– Leader in Concrete Waterproofing Systems Earns NSF 61 – Water Potability Certificate –

HENRICO, Va.,  – Alchemco, a world leader in concrete waterproofing systems, is proving its product and company credibility by having its products tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories (UL Solutions) and certified to demonstrate that it meets elevated safety standards. A global leader in applied safety science with regulatory expertise, UL Solutions provides testing, inspection and certification services to support product innovation and business growth for manufacturers. The UL Certification mark is a recognized symbol of trust, and commitment to advancing the organization’s safety mission.

UL Solutions supports the launch of new products and services that help global markets and complex supply chains, with the goal of helping companies grow sustainably and responsibly into the future. With their ultimate goal being a safer world, the organization offers various testing, auditing, inspections, and learning opportunities—in addition to certification of facilities, personnel, processes, products and systems.

For Alchemco, achieving the UL Solutions certification confirms that its products have been third-party tested, and meet applicable standards, providing credibility to authorities and the marketplace. Alchemco has achieved the NSF-61 water potability certification, a strict public health designation that highlights materials or products that are deemed safe to come into contact with drinking water—including protective barrier materials such as cements, coatings, and sealing materials. The coveted designation is helping Alchemco’s waterproofing products to stand out in the industry, separating it from competing products that don’t value safety standards to the same degree.

“By achieving this UL Solutions certification, Alchemco is demonstrating an incredible commitment to high-quality control standards unmatched by many others in the industry,” said Alchemco CEO Mario Baggio. “We hope this designation instills the utmost confidence in our products and demonstrates to clients that we value safety above all else.”

Originally developed more than 40 years ago, Alchemco’s unique technology and proprietary formulas have positioned the company as the dominant world leader in concrete waterproofing systems. Its products have been proven to extend the functional life of concrete structures, while helping building owners avoid ongoing maintenance issues and structural problems that negatively affect concrete structures, such as corrosion, spalling and carbonation.

Introducing the Cleverciti Circ 360 Ultra and Ultra+

July 25, 2022

Introducing the Cleverciti Circ 360 Ultra and Ultra+

Atlanta, Georgia and Munich, Germany

CLEVERCITI® ANNOUNCES THE CIRC® 360 ULTRA AND CIRC® 360 ULTRA+, THE NEXT GENERATION OF ITS FLAGSHIP PARKING GUIDANCE PRODUCT.

This newly updated version of the patented Circ builds on the success of the original with improved features, higher resolution, and more flexibility for customers.

Circ 360 Ultra+

By mounting a Circ 360 Ultra at intersections or decision points, drivers are guided turn-by-turn to available parking spaces— whether on-street, surface lot or a garage. Redwood City, California has a Circ at most intersections in its downtown core, as well as at each surface lot entrance.

Original Circ in Redwood City, providing guidance into a surface lot

“The Circ has allowed Redwood City to provide dynamic parking information to the public while maintaining a small, flexible, non-intrusive footprint. It allows parkers to get a real-time snapshot of the parking availability in an area, minimizing unneeded circling and reducing traffic congestion.”

— CHRISTIAN HAMMACK, REDWOOD CITY’S PARKING MANAGER

The Circ 360 Ultra has a 50% higher resolution versus the original Circ, enabling richer graphics and greater clarity in communication to drivers. The display is available in single-height (Circ 360 Ultra) and double-height versions (Circ 360 Ultra+), allowing for additional messaging. With this real estate, clients can now use the Circ to communicate detailed information like bus or train arrival times, reinforce neighborhood branding, or sell advertising space to help fund parking operations.

Circ 360

“We have already proven we can reduce parking search times by 45-55% through deploying the Circ for turn-by-turn parking guidance,” said David Parker, CEO of Cleverciti. “The Circ 360 Ultra brings our driver communication capabilities to the next level.”

The Circ 360 Ultra combines the above improvements with the best of the original Circ. Key features include:

  • Unique, patented 360° display that provides real-time turn-by-turn guidance for drivers helping to reduce the time spent searching for parking, and in turn, emissions.
  • 50% higher resolution.
  • Two sizes (single and double height) for full flexibility of content displayed.
  • Remotely managed & monitored 24/7, like all Cleverciti devices.
  • Display parking occupancy data for spaces managed by the Cleverciti platform; option to pull data from any other source (such as train arrival times).
  • Ability to change templates on-the-fly through the Cleverciti Cockpit to update the guidance plan as needed— such as for special events.
  • Dimmable to ensure maximum readability while minimizing light pollution (Automatically or by schedule).
  • Mounted onto and powered by existing infrastructure, facilitating easy installation whilst integrating seamlessly into the streetscape.
